I’m Still Here

Life is fine, just hectic. We’ve had a string of warm, beautiful days — unseasonable for November, which is usually raw, cloudy, and dark here — and I’ve spent all of them outside, mowing, weedwhacking, planting, shoveling, cleaning.

Today it is due to rain and I’m hurrying to get my last 100 bulbs planted before the downpour. Normally by now the ground is starting to freeze.

With the time change for Daylight Savings, dusk is falling as I leave the farm at 5 PM. Yesterday a full moon was rising in the east as the sun set in the west. Beautiful!
