Jack Frost Nipping At Your Nose

25° below zero F this morning at chores, crystal clear and beautiful. At these temperatures the dry snow squeaks under your boots, the trees groan and crack, and the hairs inside your nose freeze — an interesting and ticklish sensation. Luckily there is no wind.

      Thank you, Elaine and Missy. It is often very pretty in the winter time. It is also very cold! 🙂 My dear friend Larry says my farm is “the windiest effing place in the north country!”
