Worming and Sorting

Yesterday Kyle and I had another productive day. We wormed the entire flock, pulled out the eight ewes I am going to keep for next year, set up fence to turn out twenty-two at the farm, and trailered the Lucky Eight back to Betty’s field.

As we set up fence for the eight at Betty’s pasture, Kyle reflected on the fact that this tiny flock was all female.

“This is going to be drama city.”

In fact, with no rams and only one lamb, I think these girls will enjoy a well-deserved vacation.
